The elements within the Common Support Elements collection provide the ability to attach metadata to many form controls and other elements:

• Factoring all human readable messages to a separate resource XML file.
• Using URIs into this XML resource bundle within individual label elements.
• Finally, an XForms implementation could use content negotiation to obtain the appropriate XML resource bundle, e.g. based on the accept-language headers from the client, to serve up the user interface with messages and labels localizedto the client's locale.
