Unmaps any URL parameters, making parameters available on the querystring only.

Parameters

mappings	String[ ]	The mapping names to use for each URL parameter.

By using Request.MapParams(), you will be able to use request.query() to get access to parameters passed as URL parameters in the current request.

The method maps parameter names onto the URL parameter positions in the Url path:

http://mydomain/myfriendlynamedapp/automobiles/suv/ford
