Localization Strings

Smartsite 7.7 - ...

The Localization Strings action opens a library containing all the localization strings.

Within the result pane, red and green bullets are used to indicate if a localization string exists for that paricular language code, where green means there is and red means there isn't.
Usually it suffices to just specify a localization string for the language-neutral variant (en and nl).

Localization strings must have a scope. When you e.g. want to override a localization string that is being used within the manager, you need to select the Smartsite manager scope.
The default application scope is used for localization strings used within content items.

The Localization Cultures button will open a library containing the localization cultures. Here, you can enable additional languages, e.g. German.
