Google Pagespeed

The Google PageSpeed action lets you analyze an url using the Google PageSpeed Insights API.

Just type or adjust the url shown, configure the provided options and click the Execute button.

After a couple of seconds, the Google PageSpeed analysis result will be shown, providing tips on how to optimize the requested page/url.

The Google PageSpeed action can either be started directly from the Dashboard, or using the link within Item Details.

In that case, the (channel-specific) url of the item will be used to prefill the url textbox within the Google PageSpeed action.

API key

To use the Google PageSpeed action, you need to have a Google Account, so you can get an API key.

Once you have an API key, use it to set/update either the app setting google.apikey or google.pagespeed.apikey.
