News feed

This shows the RSS news feed of a certain website. You can choose which website you want. This can be changed in the news feed settings. When you click on one of the articles, you will be redirected to the page where the article is presented. To refresh the list, click on the refresh button on the top.

Edit Newsfeed widget

To edit the news feed widget, click on the edit button at the top (left button). Here you can change the RSS url. Make sure to type or paste a valid url or else the news feed widget will not work. You can also choose to show how many rows you want to see. The maximum of rows is 10.

Thumbnails

As of Smartsite 7.8, the Newsfeed widget will include thumbnails when the specified Newsfeed provides them.

App setting

As of Smartsite 7.8, the default Newsfeed url can be configured using the app setting widgets.rssfeed.url.
