Personalization storage can grow fast. Since all kinds of data, including graphics, can be stored inside the data model, it is good practice to regularly cleanup old, non-used profiles. The System Panel Plugin for Personalization allows you to to so. It shows the amount of data used in the system, the number of anonymous profiles, and the activity going on in the system.
The Cleanup button opens a new dialog where you can select which data to purge:
