You wish to uninstall the SmiServer service (either version 1.5 of 2.0). Which steps should be taken?

Steps to uninstall the SmiServer service:

1. Stop the SmiServer service.
2. Open a command prompt and go to the folder where SmiServer is installed:
   1. Smi 1.5: C:\Program Files\Smartsite Software\Smartsite Six\SMI
   2. Smi 2.0: C:\Program Files\Smartsite Software\SmiServer
3. Execute the following command:
   C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\installutil /uninstall smiserver.exe

The executable can safely be removed if the uninstall was succesful.
