Hardware and software requirements for Smartsite iXperion

The following requirements are the minimum requirements for a Smartsite iXperion environment.
Server Software
- Windows Server 2003 with IIS 6*
- Windows Server 2008 with IIS 7
- Windows Web Server 2008 with IIS 7
*Windows Server 2003, Web edition is also possible, but the database must be hosted on a other server. Advised configuration is printed in bold. Windows XP and Windows Vista can only be used on a developmentsystem and are NOT supported for a production environment. Smartserver can only be used on a developmentsystem and are NOT supported for a production environment.
Database software
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (>= SP3)
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008
- Oracle 10g Release 2
- Oracle 11g

Required components
- Internet Explorer (6.0 Service Pack 1 or 7)
- Microsoft Soap SDK (version 3.0 of higher)
- MSXML 4 (Service Pack 2 or higher)
- MSXML 6
- .NET 3.0 runtime*

Server hardware
- Processor: P4 Xeon single or higher if database is seperated from the webserver
- Processor: P4 Xeon duo or higher if database and webserver are on 1 machine
- Internal memory (RAM): 2 GB if database is seperated from the webserver
- Internal memory (RAM): 4 GB if database and webserver are on 1 machine
- Harddisk: depends on size of site and database
- Netwerk Interface card (adapter)
Desktop hardware
- Minimum P4 and 512 MB internal memory Systeemsoftware
- Internet Explorer version 6.0 SP1 or version 7
