The Smartsite 7 manager user interface has been completely overhauled to re-introduce the tree view on the left and to allow quicker switching between tabs.

The tree view allows the basic content management and file system actions through a context menu. The existing dashboard apps Content Tree and File Explorer still exist, but are now hidden by default.

Each tab is now created as an iframe in the browser. Switching tabs no longer has to reload the complete page, but simply hides the current frame and shows the new one. A server callback ensures the contents are still up to date.
