<exclude> element

Note: This element is introduced in Smi 1.3b1 and deprecated in Smi 1.3b3. It is still available for backwards compatibility but it may be removed in the future. It has been replaced with the new filter element.

Defines which requests are excluded from the Smi statistics. Requests may be excluded based on item number or code, content type, channel or client address. The exclude filter only works for new incoming requests. The exclude filters do not remove previously collected statistical data. Statistical information about requests that are filtered is lost and cannot be recovered at a later point in time.
