When installing the performance counters, you may run into this error:

This message means that you do not have sufficient rights on your server to install the performance counters. Run as an Administrator when installing the performance counters. When running under Windows Vista or Windows 2008, UAC may be interfering. Make sure that you open a command prompt as an Administrator before running PerfCounters.exe.
