<assetfolder> element
The assetfolder element defines the assetfolder configuration, with the basic settings (code, type, rootitem and folder) specified as attributes and the more advanced settings specified as attributes on the configuration child element.
The code attribute is used to assign a code to the assetfolder configuration, and this code is also used as AssetCode field within the database.
The type attribute specifies the type of assetfolder:
- localfolder: a local folder on disc within the webroot.
- external: external files (other websites, CDN, etc.) [not yet supported].
The folder attribute specifies the folder on disc of the assetfolder, which is required when type equals localfolder.
The rootitem attribute specifies the item within the cms which must be used as parent to mirror the folder on disc (when type="localfolder").
